In this project, I explored the appearance of fabric in greater depth, focusing on how to convey its realism by adding fine surface hairs to mimic the texture of cotton.
In parallel, I experimented with hair systems in Houdini, where I developed the idea of replacing individual hair strands with spike-like objects. Building on this, I ran a particle simulation in which the spikes were driven by an upward wind force. The resulting motion and visual effect closely resemble the dynamic behavior of ferrofluids.
